Brookside Elementary School

Library

Welcome to the Brookside Library banner with illustrations of books, a lynx, and space-themed elements.

“I am a firm believer that the library should be a warm, welcoming environment where kids know they are always wanted.” C. Carr

The Brookside library is not just a place to come and read a book, but a welcoming place for the students. So many of the students say “I LOVE THE LIBRARY!”

What can a person expect to see when they come to the library? They would see each student reflecting the Library expectations: being safe, responsible, respectful, and kind.

The library is open for the students during their recesses. The students can come in to help Ms. Rachel, play games, or just relax in a quiet environment.

New additions to the library include: a beautiful new fish tank featuring the Bobs and Rueben the Pleco. We have a new beautiful carpet for the students to sit on during story time. Plus, we are always adding pops of color to the library. This month the students are making their own
